Getting there together

Our Team

Baby playing with toy

DDRC employs an early intervention team that includes speech therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists and developmental interventionists. The members of the team routinely participate in professional trainings to provide quality evidence based services to families. In addition, the director of the program provides oversight to ensure quality services are provided.

Our Model

At DDRC, we promote the use of the transdisciplinary model of service delivery. Transdisciplinary services are defined by the sharing of roles across discipline boundaries through collaboration, communication, and shared responsibility. The goal is to provide family-centered, coordinated, and integrated services. Although one to two team members will be the primary provider(s), they have access to all of the disciplines through ongoing communication and consultations as deemed appropriate.
