Donations

DDRC welcomes donations of items for silent auctions, medical equipment like hospital beds and other goods and services that support our programs. Please call 303-462-6574 and let us know you have a donation.

Donors

If you would like to make a gift in memory of someone who has passed away you may do so online or by mailing in a check. There are fields on the online donation form for you to specify to whom your gift is in memory of. If you choose to mail in a memorial donation, please indicate on the donation form or check the name of the person you are honoring.

Family

If you have experienced the loss of someone you love and would like to remember them by having gifts made to DDRC in their memory, please contact Addie Ewalt at 303-462-6574 or email addie.ewalt@ddrcco.com with the name of your loved one, your contact information and if there is a specific department/program you would like the gifts to be designated. After memorial donations have been received we will provide you with a list of donors who remembered your loved one.

Memorial Garden

To remember those who have been a part of our lives DDRC has built a memorial garden next to our Main Building at 8th and Quail in Lakewood.

Bricks may be ordered in memory of people in DDRC services, family members, employees and supporters.

Do you have a car, truck, trailer, boat or other vehicle that you no longer want? Donate it to DDRC!!! There are 2 ways to donate a vehicle to DDRC:

1. If you have a working van or a vehicle with a wheelchair lift that you no longer have use for, donate it to DDRC to pass along to a family that could use it. You will get a tax-deductible donation to DDRC for the value of the vehicle and a deserving family will receive the vehicle for free.

2. If you have any other vehicle- even if it no longer runs - contact Cars for Charity and they will tow it, do all the paperwork, sell it and send a check as a donation to DDRC.

DDRC is a member of Caring Connection, a workplace giving federation made up of local nonprofits that help people with basic human services. Throughout the fall, Caring Connection represents DDRC and the other members to employees - and sometimes we are invited to speak to groups. Many employees make automatic monthly deductions from their paychecks and these donations go to support nonprofit organizations like DDRC.

Federal Government - You can support DDRC in the Combined Federal Campaign. Our CFC number is 68436. State Government-you can participate in the Colorado Combined Campaign. DDRC's CCC number is 1824. The City and County of Denver- Our DECC (Denver Employee Combined Campaign) number is 0524.

State Government - You can participate in the Colorado Combined Campaign. DDRC's CCC number is 1824.

If your workplace...

Participates in Caring Connection/Partnership for Colorado - our Caring Connnection number is 1025.

Participates in a United Way Campaign - you can support DDRC by writing in our full name, the Developmental Disabilities Resource Center, as a donor choice option on your pledge card.
