AVS provides supervised day activities in the community so individuals can learn about and participate in community life experiences. Activities are chosen with input from individuals. These activities include educational, social, recreational and volunteer experiences with trained staff to accompany and support individuals in all types of community settings.

Admission Criteria

  • Pre-admission evaluation
  • Developmental Disability
  • Age 18 or older
  • Exhibits safe behavior
  • Able to function without life support equipment
  • Able to care for personal needs with staff assistance
  • Able to be supervised by trained staff
  • Medical information provided upon request
