Coronavirus Update- Changes and Closures Until Further Notice March 30, 2020

Temporary Changes in DDRC operations are in effect until further notice and as required or recommended by local, state and federal authorities.

Hello Individuals, Families/Guardians, Providers and Stakeholders:

DDRC’s leadership is working hard to make thoughtful and prudent decisions as rapidly evolving information is coming to us from various health authorities relating to the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to the work and population we serve, there are many directives and recommendations given to us and many other decision points that we are working through to ensure the health and safety of all involved — those we serve, their families, our workforce and the community.

Please note below the temporary changes in DDRC operations that are in effect until further notice:

Weiland and Walters Centers Day Programs and Therapeutic Recreation — These programs and services are temporarily closed until further notice.

Early Intervention, Targeted Case Management/Resource Coordination and Service Coordination
DDRC continues to deliver Early Intervention, Targeted Case Management/Resource Coordination and Service Coordination services, and these services are now being provided via telehealth, email or videoconferencing. Staff providing these services are working remotely.

Residential and Other DDRC Direct Services – DDRC’s residential services and employment supports are ongoing. Temporary modifications being implemented include limiting visitors and community interactions.

DDRC’s main office – Our office at 11177 W. 8th Ave, Lakewood will have restricted access for visitors and vendors. Limited staff are reporting to the office and most are working remotely. DDRC's main reception will be taking calls at 303-233-3363 and screening essential vendor deliveries and prior appointments.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve you and your family and for your support as a volunteer, donor or member of the community. We appreciate your understanding during this challenging time.
