Employment Support for Adults with Learning Disabilities
Everyone deserves the opportunity to work, earn a paycheck, and feel the pride that comes with meaningful employment. At DDRC, we’re here to make that possible for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our Employment Support Program connects individuals with experienced consultants who help them find jobs that match their skills, interests, and goals. Plus, with our career exploration, job development, on-the-job training, and ongoing support services, employees thrive in long-term positions. And we don’t stop there—we provide ongoing support every step of the way, so each person can succeed and thrive in their role.
How to Get Started
Finding the right job can feel overwhelming. But, with our outstanding employment support for adults with learning disabilities, we can make the whole process a heck of a lot easier. Our process starts with getting to know each individual—what they love, what they’re good at, and what kind of work excites them. From there, we explore opportunities, provide hands-on support, and work closely with employers to ensure a great fit. Whether someone is transitioning from school to work or looking for new opportunities, we’re committed to helping them build confidence and independence through employment.
