Join us in TR!

Therapeutic Recreation provides recreation opportunities to assist individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities lead lives that are physically, emotional, social and spiritual fulfilling and beneficial to their needs and wants; leading to a greater sense of satisfaction and happiness.

  • Activities focus on community awareness and resources in addition to minimal in-house specials, classes, and year-round fitness options.
  • All activities include supervision in either small groups (4–10 participants) or large groups (10–20 or more participants).
  • Volunteers will receive a newsletter and can select from a variety of 25–30 different activities per month.
    • We conduct seasonal training and competition in 10 Special Olympic sports and community unified leagues.
