Early Intervention Evaluations

DDRC conducts approximately 85 evaluations each month, with close to 90% of children qualifying for ongoing services. Our intake specialists process up to 200 referrals monthly, assessing eligibility based on developmental delays or established conditions. Families can choose from FERPA- and HIPAA-compliant virtual, in-person, or hybrid evaluations to fit their needs. Once eligibility is determined, families receive guidance on accessing the appropriate services to support their child’s development.

How to Get Started

To begin the EIE process, families can contact DDRC to schedule an evaluation. Our intake team conducts phone interviews to gather necessary demographic and developmental information and explains the eligibility process. Evaluations are conducted by our experienced multidisciplinary team, who assess the child’s needs and determine qualification for services. If eligible, a dedicated service coordinator will help develop an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) tailored to the child’s unique needs. Families can access a variety of resources and support systems to ensure their child receives the best possible care.
