Human Resources Generalist
Salary:
Mid 30’s – commensurate with skills and experience.
This is a full time--36 hour work week position.
This position supports the HR Department. Responsibilities will focus on workers compensation claims administration, OSHA compliance and reporting, job description/posting revision and development, ADA compliance and FMLA administration and tracking, employee relations, recruitment, coaching and facilitating management with HR related issues in addition to various other HR related assignments as needed.

Two (plus) years of Human Resource Generalist experience preferred. B.S. in Human Resources Management or related field required. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Must have knowledge of federal and state employment laws and excellent written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated general computer and keyboard skills, including but not limited to knowledge of databases, software, email, internet and the ability to learn new technology. Experience with HRIS preferred.
Physical qualifications:
Ability to lift/push/pull/carry 10 pounds, sit for up to two hours at a time throughout an 8-10 hour day, extensive use of the telephone and the computer and accessories, ability to speak clearly and distinctly and be understood by others, read written material, write or type while listening, and independently travel to alternative sites. Ability to bend and stoop occasionally. Ability to reach to shoulder level and above.
